Optimise announced two AI agents today at PI LIVE — Insight Agent and Growth Agent — that it says will help advertisers interpret performance data and then take action to drive growth, rather than stop at reporting.

The global partnership marketing platform did not publish pricing, release dates for general availability, or performance benchmarks alongside the announcement. That absence matters. Vendors routinely ship "AI agents" that amount to repackaged dashboards, and the press material gives affiliates little to verify beyond the claim itself.

What did Optimise actually announce?

Two named tools, each with what the company calls defined responsibilities:

  • Insight Agent — positioned around making sense of performance data.
  • Growth Agent — positioned around taking action on that data to drive growth.

Both run on Optimise's proprietary intelligence layer, Partner IQ. According to the company, the split is deliberate: one agent interprets, the other executes. Optimise frames this as a way for advertisers to close the gap between analytics and intervention.

Note the attribution. "According to the company" carries the weight here. No third-party test results, sample sizes, or before-and-after campaign data appear in the launch material.

Who is this for, and under which deal models?

Optimise operates as a partnership marketing platform serving advertisers across its network, which spans CPL, CPA, rev-share and hybrid arrangements. The agents target the advertiser side of that marketplace — the brands reading performance signals and deciding where to scale spend.

For affiliates, the relevance is indirect but real. If Growth Agent shifts budget or adjusts campaign parameters automatically, partners on rev-share and hybrid deals will feel those changes in payout velocity, even if they never touch the tools themselves. Optimise has not said whether affiliates get any visibility into agent-driven decisions, or whether such decisions will be logged in program terms.

That silence is worth flagging. Automated budget actions by an advertiser-side agent could conflict with published program terms — commission structures, attribution windows, cookie terms — if the agent adjusts them without notice. Optimise has not addressed this.

Are AI agents in affiliate marketing measurable yet?

Across the industry, the honest answer is that claims outrun published evidence. Optimise says Partner IQ powers both agents, but the launch did not specify what data the intelligence layer trains on, how large its dataset is, or how the platform measures an agent's recommendations against a human media buyer's.

For comparison, consider how networks typically launch measurement tools: with an EPC delta, a conversion lift figure, or at minimum a pilot cohort. Optimise led with capability language instead of numbers. Advertisers evaluating the agents should ask for exactly those figures before attributing budget to them.

What happens next?

Expect Optimise to publish case studies and integration details as the agents move from announcement to deployment; until then, the performance claims rest entirely on the vendor's word.
